AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez's mom Guadalupe Rodriguez may have gotten excited about her daughter's rekindled relationship with Ben Affleck. After being caught having fun together with the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor, the "Hustlers" actress' mom was reportedly "thrilled" about the reunion.
"In the past, Jennifer's mom and Ben were very close. Guadalupe loved Ben. She was sad when they couldn't work things out years ago," a source informed PEOPLE. Offering more details, the source added, "She is thrilled that they are back together now."
The insider elaborated further, "Jennifer is very close with her mom. It's very important to her that the person she is with, gets along with her mom." The so-called inside source went on saying, "Jennifer loves that Ben and Guadalupe hung out in Las Vegas. They both love gambling and had fun together at the Wynn hotel."
Prior to the report, Ben had previously spent time with J.Lo's mom. The "Justice League" actor was spotted with the 76-year-old at a casino in Las Vegas where he's filming his new project. A separate source told the publication, "Lupe was there to film a fun cameo."
Another source told E! News that both Ben and Guadalupe "enjoy gambling together and have done it in the past. Ben had the opportunity to work in Vegas this week and she came out." Of Ben and J.Lo's possible romance, a source reported to E! News that "Guadalupe loves Ben." The insider further told the publication, "[Guadalupe] is happy that he is back in Jennifer's life."
According to reports, Ben and the 51-year-old singer/actress are "discussing summer plans," which could include taking a trip together. Despite living on separate coasts, they "want to spend as much time together as possible."
Amid rumors of a rekindled romance between the "Gone Girl" actor and the "On the Floor" hitmaker, a source revealed that "the stars planned to announce their reunion in a more tightly controlled way." "The Boy Next Door" actress was also said to have planned "to make an announcement that they are back together on Instagram."
