In a new interview with Shape magazine, the 'Divergent' actress reveals that she believes she would have met her fiancee 'in any context, any space in time' as she feels that they 'were meant to be together.'

AceShowbiz - Fans were surprised by Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers' earlier this year as not many knew when and how their relationship exactly started. Now the actress herself has offered details of her romantic journey with the athlete, admitting that she and her now-fiancee "jumped" into their relationship "headfirst" by moving in "immediately."

In her cover story of Shape magazine's July/Agustus issue, the Beatrice Prior depicter in "Divergent" film series opened up about her unique dating situation with her husband-to-be. "Starting a relationship where you immediately move in with someone, because it's a pandemic and you can't just get on a plane and go back and forth on weekends, taught us a lot about each other very quickly," she told the outlet. "We jumped in headfirst and got some of the sticky bits out of the way early."

Raving on her romance with the NFL quarterback, Shailene went on to describe it as destiny. She said to the publication, "I have the perspective that I would have met Aaron in any context, any space in time, because I feel we were meant to be together."

The two-time Golden Globe nominee also told Shape that she was only accompanied by her dog in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic before quarantining with the Green Bay Packers player months later in Montreal, where she was filming her upcoming project, "Misanthrope". "It forced me to be still and quiet," the "Big Little Lies" alum reflected. She also admitted that the situation was indeed "really uncomfortable" for her, but still worthwhile.

In February, Shailene xxx her engagement to Aaron during her appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". "So it's kind of funny. Everybody right now is freaking out over it and we're like, 'Yeah, we've been engaged for a while,' " the "Adrift" actress told host Jimmy Fallon. Gushing over the NFL star, she said, "He's, first off, just a wonderful, incredible human being."

Despite that, the 29-year-old jokingly said that she "never thought [she'd] be engaged with somebody who threw balls for a living." The actress added, "Like, I never thought as a little girl ... 'Yeah, when I grow up, I'm gonna marry someone who throws balls! Yeah!' But he's really just so good at it."

Aaron himself admitted that he's already interested in starting a family with Shailene and becoming a dad. During an Instagram Live session in March, the 37-year-old athlete spilled to Zenith Watches CEO Julien Tornare, "The next great challenge will be being a father. I'm in that age group where a lot of my close friends from high school and college are fathers now and have families of their own."

The football player also raved over his engagement to his bride-to-be. "I'm recently engaged, so been enjoying that part of my life, that's the best thing that's happened to me in the last year," he gushed.
