AceShowbiz - Country star Miranda Lambert celebrated the launch of her new Nashville, Tennessee bar and restaurant by enjoying a karaoke duet with her husband.
The "Vice" hitmaker threw a star-studded party on Tuesday, May 25 to mark the soft opening of Miranda Lambert's Casa Rosa, where guests were treated to performances by her girl group Pistol Annies and Darius Rucker among others.
However, the highlight of the evening came when Lambert dragged her man, former New York City police officer Brendan McLoughlin, up onstage to join her on a karaoke rendition of "Summer Nights" from hit movie musical "Grease".
Lambert unveiled plans for the Tex-Mex eatery, a four-floor complex which also includes a rooftop bar boasting skyline views of Nashville, where fans can work their way through her "extensive" margarita and tequila menu, back in March, joining the likes of fellow local restaurateurs and bar owners Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line among TC Restaurant Group partners.
Being the first female in country music to open a bar on Nashville's famous Broadway strip, the ex-wife of Blake Shelton gushed to Entertainment Tonight, "I am definitely proud to be the girl down there with my name on a honky-tonk sign." She added, "That makes me very happy."
About the bar that is described as "a little taste of Texas in Tennessee," the "Tin Man" singer raved, "My favorite things are the pink tufted booths and the giant rhinestone saddle. You heard me right! It's hanging." She elaborated, "It's a disco ball saddle and it's humongous and it makes me just smile from ear to ear."
