AceShowbiz - Rocker Paul Weller is celebrating after racking up his sixth number one on the U.K. albums chart.
"Fat Pop" earns the star his latest chart-topper with just over 26,000 units, of which 91 per cent were in physical sales.
Weller told OfficialCharts.com, "To have people like an album and want to buy it is never taken for granted by me, so to have it go to number one makes it even more special."
He narrowly beat rapper J. Cole to the top spot - "The Off-Season" enters at two, ahead of Rag'n'Bone Man's "Life By Misadventure" at three.
Also making their debuts are "Daddy's Home" by St. Vincent and Delta Kream from The Black Keys, which are new at four and five, respectively.
Meanwhile, "Body" by Tion Wayne & Russ Millions holds steady atop the U.K. singles chart for a third consecutive week.
Olivia Rodrigo places second with "Good 4 U", and Doja Cat and SZA's "Kiss Me More" remains at three.
Last week, the U.K. Albums chart was ruled by Rag'n'Bone Man with "Life By Misadventure". The singer/songwriter scored the biggest opening sales week for a British musician so far this year with a staggering 33,000 copies of the release on vinyl towards a 42,000 total.
His chart triumph came after he closed out the BRIT Awards on Tuesday (11May21) with a show-stopping Pink duet on "Anywhere Away From Here", backed by the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS choir, which he dedicated to care workers on the frontline of the COVID crisis.
