AceShowbiz - Some celebrities like Chrissy Teigen and Patrick J. Adams were rallying behind Meghan Markle ahead of her highly-anticipated interview with Oprah Winfrey as she was accused of bullying staff members at the palace before her royal exit with Prince Harry, but one star clearly felt no sympathy for the Duchess of Sussex.
Bethenny Frankel took to Twitter in a series of posts to weigh in on the drama surrounding the actress-turned-royal. "Not since @MonicaLewinsky interview, have people been obsessed with a young female interview like this #MARRY interview. Remember the famous lip gloss?" the reality TV star wrote.
She went on to suggest that the "Suits" alum played a pity party, "Cry me a river...the plight of being a game show host, fairly unknown actress, to suffering in a palace, w tiaras & 7 figure weddings for TWO WHOLE YEARS to being a household name w @Oprah on speed dial, fetching 7 m for interviews, hundreds of millions in media deals."
The former "Real Housewives" regular, however, was less harsh with her words when it came to the Duke. "I [100 per cent] give Harry a break," she penned before, again, criticizing Meghan's interview with Oprah, "This isn't the way to generate less press & cannot be filed under the guise of wanting privacy to prevent a repeat of previous events."
She then compared the Duchess' situation to her own, "I chose reality tv, to work towards making $, to be scrutinized & criticized.I took the trappings & the beatings along with it. It's a rose w petals & thorns. People beg to enter the often toxic institution I signed up for. That WAS the life I chose. You can't play stupid & smart."
The Bravo star also admitted to ranting about the whole situation on her podcast. "If you hate me for saying it here don't listen to my podcast #justbwithbethenny it's littered with my opinion," she tweeted.
She mercilessly dissed Meghan, "I think she is in the movie Poseidon Adventure, thinking she is going to the top of the boat...."
