AceShowbiz - Reality TV star Bethenny Frankel recently experienced an unintended high after mistaking a THC-infused beverage for a non-alcoholic mocktail. At 54, Bethenny sought an alternative to traditional alcohol, unknowingly choosing Nowadays, a drink containing THC, the active component of cannabis.
Despite the bottle's front prominently stating it was "THC infused," Bethenny overlooked this crucial detail and consumed four times the recommended serving size. This oversight led to a memorable night that started with a relaxing bath and progressed into a somewhat cloudy, yet amusing experience.
As documented in her TikTok updates, Bethenny struggled to keep track of her thoughts. "So I didn't read the bottle and now I'm hearing from you guys that a serving is one and a half ounces and I had eight to ten," she explained to her followers from her bed before momentarily losing her train of thought. "What the hell was I going to say?… What did I say before? Hold on, it's driving me nuts," she continued.
Despite her "user error," she praised the taste of the drink and reported feeling "glazed." She shared videos syncing with Melissa McCarthy's lines from the film "Bridesmaids", humorously mirroring her overconsumption. "I took nine. I did slightly overcommit," the audio played as she lip-synced along.
The next day, Bethenny recapped her experience, clarifying her initial belief that it was a ready-to-drink cocktail. "I was intrigued, and I wanted to try it… I thought it was a ready-to-drink cocktail," she explained. "This was a brand new bottle that I opened and this is how much I drank of it," she added, showing off the nearly quarter-empty bottle.
After a relaxed bath and some time in bed, she engaged in a live session with her audience, which many found entertaining - even if Bethenny herself couldn't remember all of it. "I didn't think I was that entertaining or interesting, or maybe I was, I don't remember," she admitted. She reported feeling "groggy" but otherwise "good" the following morning.
Bethenny's amusing recount left fans in stitches, with one commenting, "I feel like you are fighting for your life a little here," to which she responded with a laughing-crying emoji. Another added, "I think the effects are still in the room with us," alongside more laughing emojis.
In the end, Bethenny assured her audience that there was nothing to fear from THC-infused products, stating, "There's no monsters here... there were no monsters," despite feeling a bit off. Her candid and humorous portrayal of the mishap served as a lighthearted reminder to always double-check labels, especially when trying new products.
