The 'What/If' actress seemingly responds to her former co-star's apology for making her time on 'Glee' set 'a living hell' by telling Lea to donate for the family of a protester who was killed in Omaha.

AceShowbiz - Samantha Ware doesn't seem to accept Lea Michele's apology after the latter addressed the former's allegations that she made her time on "Glee" set "a living hell." Hours after Lea's statement was released, Samantha posted a scathing tweet that took a jab at the former Rachel Berry depicter's use of the word "perceived."
Without directly responding to Lea's apology or mentioning her name, the "What/If" actress wrote, "Perceived? Purcieved? Purse? Open your purse??????????????" She appears to suggest the "Scream Queens" alum to donate to a GoFundMe for the family of James Scurlock, a 22-year-old black man who was shot and killed while protesting in Omaha.
Samantha wasn't the only one who had bad experience working with Lea. Supporting Samantha's claims, other "Glee" stars, Dabier Snell and Alex Newell, spoke out about their experiences working with Lea. Amber Riley insinuated that she too had things to say against Lea, while Melissa Benoist simply liked tweets about the scandal.
On Wednesday, May 3, Lea released a lengthy apology on Instagram. "While I don't remember ever making this specific statement and I have never judged others by their background or colour of their skin, that's not really the point. What matters is that I clearly acted in ways which hurt other people," she wrote.
The pregnant actress added, "Whether it was my privileged position and perspective that caused me to be perceived as insensitive or inappropriate at times or whether it was just my immaturity and me just being unnecessarily difficult, I apologize for my behaviour and for any pain which I have caused. We all can grow and change and I have definitely used these past several months to reflect on my own shortcomings."
Heather Morris later responded to Lea's apology, reminding others not to make assumption that Lea is a racist. "Let me be very clear, Hate is a disease in America that we are trying to cure, so I would never wish for hate to be spread to anyone else," the 33-year-old actress tweeted. "With that said, was she unpleasant to work with? Very much so; for Lea to treat others with the disrespect that she did for as long as she did, I believe she SHOULD be called out."
Admitting that they too played a part in letting Lea get away with it for a long time, the Brittany S. Pierce depicter noted, "But, at the current moment it's implied that she is a racist and although I cannot comment on her beliefs, I think we're assuming, and you know what happens when we all assume…."
