The singer was taken into custody on public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges on Saturday night, May 23, 2020 after he was kicked out of Kid Rock's Big A** Honky Tonk & Rock 'N' Roll Steakhouse venue.
The "Chasin' You" hitmaker addressed the incident on social media following his release, tweeting, "Hey y'all just wanted to clear the air. I went out downtown last night with a few old friends. After a couple bar stops, we were horse-playing with each other. We didn't mean any harm, and we want to say sorry to any bar staff or anyone that was affected."
And talking to U.S. radio host Bobby Bones on Friday morning, May 29, 2020, Wallen revealed the drama scored him a face to face with Kid Rock.
"He asked me if I wanted to come hang out, cause I had never met him or anything, so we went over there and hung out," Wallen said, revealing he personally apologised to the rocker.
The 27 year old accepts the drama has landed him a reputation for being "a little bit rowdy and maybe even rambunctious at times," but he insists he's never violent. "Usually, it's fun-loving," he added.
