The hacking group known as REvil is now threatening to reveal 'dirty laundry' on President Donald Trump and doubles the ransom to $42 million after breaching the site of Grubman Shire Meiselas and Sacks.

AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa's legal documents have been leaked online after law firm Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks became a victim of cyberattack. Per Rolling Stones, the leaked data includes the "Born This Way" singer's project contracts, confidentiality agreements, promotional materials and reimbursements to Jeff Koons (whom GaGa once name-dropped on "Applause").

The hackers leaked the files after the law firm declined to pay a requested $21 million ransom they demanded. "It seems that GRUBMANS doesn't care about their clients or it was a mistake to hire a recovery company to help in the negotiations," they wrote.

Addressing the situation, a spokesperson for the law firm said, "We are working directly with federal law enforcement and continue to work around the clock with the world's leading experts to address this situation."

The firm additionally addressed the leak of its client's data, "The leaking of our clients' documents is a despicable and illegal attack by these foreign cyberterrorists who make their living attempting to extort high-profile U.S. companies, government entities, entertainers, politicians, and others ... We have been informed by the experts and the FBI that negotiating with or paying ransom to terrorists is a violation of federal criminal law. Even when enormous ransoms have been paid, the criminals often leak the documents anyway."

The hacking group using the name REvil is now doubling the ransom from $21 million to $42 million and is threatening to leak "a ton of dirty laundry" related to Donald Trump, though it is said that the law firm never worked directly with the president.

"There's an election race going on, and we found a ton of dirty laundry," the hackers warned. "Mr. Trump, if you want to stay president, poke a sharp stick at the guys, otherwise you may forget this ambition forever. And to you voters, we can let you know that after such a publication, you certainly don't want to see him as president."

"The deadline is one week," they went on threatening. "Grubman, we will destroy your company down to the ground if we don't see the money."

The law firm, which represents a lot of A-list stars like Drake, Nicki Minaj, Madonna and Mariah Carey, confirmed on Wednesday, May 13 that they have been "victimized by a cyberattack." As much as 756 gigabytes of data including contracts and personal emails reportedly have been stolen by the hackers from the firm's site.
