An attorney for the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star insists that his client sought treatment at a Colorado facility for issues related to his past traumas rather than cocaine and alcohol abuse.

AceShowbiz - Scott Disick has been left enraged by the violation of his privacy by a rehab facility. Shortly after a photo of him joining a Zoom group meeting at the All Points North Lodge in Edwards, Colorado made its way out online, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star checked out of the center with the intention of taking legal action.

Disick's attorney, Marty Singer, issued a statement on the matter on Monday evening, May 4. "Shockingly, as a result of the HIPA violation of the facility and his violation of privacy, he has checked himself out and is immediately returning home," the lawyer stated. "We are alarmed by this extreme invasion of privacy and plan to take immediate legal action."

While earlier reports claimed Disick sought treatment for cocaine and alcohol abuse, Singer clarified he was actually dealing with grief. "In an effort to finally come to terms and deal with the pain that Scott has been silently suffering for many years due to the sudden death of his mother, followed by the death of his father 3 months later, Scott made the decision to check himself into a rehab facility last week to work on his past traumas," he explained.

The ex-partner of Kourtney Kardashian opened up about his struggle in accepting the loss of his parents in the April 30 episode of "KUWTK". When sharing childhood photos with his kids, he admitted, "I think when my parents passed, it was just too hard to talk about and, you know, as much as I kind of was dreading looking through some of these old photos because I thought it was going to bring up sad memories, I'm happy Dave brought them with him."

"The truth is, it's brought up so many amazing memories and so many things I've forgot," he continued. "It's definitely not easy, the fact that I don't have my parents here. And I miss them a lot, but I think the more I talk about my parents, the more my kids will feel connected to them and remember them."

As for Disick's rehab stint, it was first brought to attention by DailyMailTV. Quoting a source, the outlet reported that the 36-year-old flew to Colorado from Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 28. The source added, "He said he's having trauma from his past, he mentioned trouble with his ex and said he's also having trouble with his children and he's been taking cocaine and drinking a lot."

"He looked pretty skinny and told the group he was coming to rehab to work on his issues and said he was having withdrawal symptoms and was tired and lethargic," the so-called insider went on to spill. "He told staff he didn't want any special treatment during his stay, in terms of meals and therapy."
