The 'Bullets Over Broadway' actor is reportedly in a 'very bad' condition although he tested negative for coronavirus after admitted to a hospital for pneumonia.

AceShowbiz - Tony Award-nominated Broadway star Nick Cordero's condition is "very bad" in hospital despite the star testing negative for Covid-19.

The Canadian actor, who starred in "Bullets Over Broadway" in 2014 and last year's hit musical "Waitress", was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after contracting what was initially believed to be pneumonia earlier this year 2020.

While two tests later confirmed the star does not have coronavirus and his wife Amanda Kloots believed her husband was "doing better," she has since told fans his condition has worsened.

Taking to her Instagram Story page, Amanda revealed that Nick's condition, "got very bad. Please pray pray pray."

Despite the actor's wife previously revealing his "body is responding well to the medication" and "he needs less oxygen from the ventilator," she added that doctors had warned her to "prepare myself for the long haul because we are at the beginning of this."

Cordero most recently appeared onstage in a Hollywood production of musical "Rock of Ages", which was shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
