Breaking the good news to her Instagram followers, the TV personality thanks those who offer their prayers, 'I couldn't have gotten through this without your support.'

AceShowbiz - Former cast member of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Sheere Whitfield can now breathe a sigh of relief. Days after asking her followers to help her search for her missing mother, the star has now returned to social media to give an update that her mom has been found safe and sound.

In an Instagram post shared on Friday, April 10, Sheere expressed her gratitude to those who prayed for her mother's safety. "Thank you for all the prayers, they WORKED! My mom has been found safe and healthy. She is with family now. I couldn't have gotten through this without your support. GOD IS GOOD!" she wrote on the photo-sharing platform.

Her former castmate, Porsha Williams, was among those who felt relieved after hearing the news. She commented, "God is good," while Donald Trump's former political aide Omarosa said, "Praise God! Xoxo." Meanwhile, Shamea Morton wrote, "This is such a great news!" As for Carlos King, he said, "We love you Mommy Thelma!"

Earlier this week, Sheere said that her mother, Thelma Ferguson, had been missing for two weeks. She was last seen on March 23. "In the past, my mom has taken personal vacations without letting the family know and we respect that side of her. However, this is the longest she have gone without reaching out to anyone from the family or her friends." She added, "Right now we are leaning on God and staying positive and prayerful for her safe return home."

"I ask that everyone pray for my mother's safe return home. And know that our family will be internally grateful," she concluded, before asking people to contact Sandy Springs police or email the detective handling the missing persons case if they had information regarding her mom.
