The former '30 Rock' actor calls the current President of the United States 'the virus in the U.S.' and claims the upcoming election will bring 'the vaccine.'

AceShowbiz - Alec Baldwin referred to U.S. leader Donald Trump as "the virus in the U.S." - alluding to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The actor, who received critical acclaim for his comedic portrayal of Trump on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL), took to Twitter via his and wife Hilaria's foundation's account, to share a scathing tweet aimed at the President, amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
"The virus in the US began in January of 2017. The vaccine arrives in November," he shared, referring to the forthcoming U.S. Presidential elections.
It comes after Alec posted in February, before the Covid-19 outbreak escalated, that Trump is the "pandemic that threatens the world."
Trump has come under fire for his handling of the global health crisis, after he referred to Covid-19 as the "Chinese virus" and "Kung flu" - seemingly referring to the city of Wuhan, China, where the outbreak began in December 2019.
While officials from the World Health Organisation (WHO) urge people to stay indoors and practice social distancing amid the health scare, Alec recently told "The Howard Stern Show" he and his wife don't discuss the virus around their four children to avoid "contaminating them with fear."
"My wife and I, we adjourn to another room, we don't talk about the nuts and bolts in front of the kids," he explained. "No point in contaminating them with fear and so forth. We want them to be kids and enjoy their lives and enjoy their day and that's it."
