In a joint statement, the 30-year-old model and her fiance announce they 'have decided to move the date of our wedding' due to 'the unfortunate circumstances.'

AceShowbiz - Lala Kent and Randall Emmett will have to wait a little bit longer to make their union official. Having been engaged for nearly two years, the regular cast members of "Vanderpump Rules" announced, on Wednesday, March 18, that they have decided to postpone their wedding because of the coronavirus outbreak.

Through a joint statement, the couple said, "We have decided to move the date of our wedding to July given the unfortunate circumstances of what is going on." They added, "We are obviously saddened by this but for the ultimate safety of our families and guests, we have made the decision to wait and see how everything progresses. Safety will always be our number one priority."

Lala and Randall's announcement came after their reality show co-star Jax Taylor let slipped the news during a Q&A session on Instagram Live. When answering a fan's question about whether another co-star Stassi Schroeder would cancel her Italian wedding with Beau Clark, Jax noted it was the 30-year-old model and her film producer fiance's April 18 nuptials that got delayed.

While practicing self-quarantine in his Valley Village home, the 40-year-old TV personality went on to stress that the pair still plan to get hitched. "Don't worry; everybody is still getting married," he assured before adding that he himself would "be accompanying them to the courthouse."

News of Lala and Randall's wedding delay came less than a week after she joked about COVID-19. "So, I may get in trouble for this but it's okay," she said on her Instagram Story. "I just don't feel that God would give me coronavirus before I get married. I just don't see that happening to me. Let's just say I do get it before my wedding. I feel like that means that God is like, 'B***h. You need a little publicity.' That's the only way I would get it I feel."

Days later, Lala returned to her social media page to tell her devotees that she would put herself in isolation. "About to quarantine my a** off," she raved. "This whole situation has been way too heavy. I'll catch y'all when this is over. Until then, be safe, stay healthy, and try not to kill each other over toilet paper."
