The former 'Baywatch' actress and her husband Jon Peters have called time on their marriage only 12 days after swapping wedding vows in a low-key ceremony.

AceShowbiz - There's trouble in paradise for newlyweds Pamela Anderson, 52, and Jon Peters, 74. Only twelve days after tying the knot in a hush-hush ceremony in Malibu, the couple announced their separation. Rumor has it, they haven't even filed for a marriage certificate.

"I have been moved by the warm reception to Jon and my union," Pamela said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "We would be very grateful for your support as we take some time apart to re-evaluate what we want from life and from one another."

"Life is a journey and love is a process. With that universal truth in mind, we have mutually decided to put off the formalization of our marriage certificate and put our faith in the process. Thank you for respecting our privacy."

It was the fifth wedding for both the former "Baywatch" star and her groom. Their nuptials on January 20 was attended by the bride's two sons and the groom's three daughters and ex-wife Christine Forsyth-Peters.

Pamela Anderson and film producer Jon Peters have been dating on and off for more than three decades. Their marriage came months after they got back together following her split from soccer star Adil Rami in June 2019.

Although their marriage seemed rushed, Brandon, Pamela's son from her first marriage to Tommy Lee, approved of Peters. "I'm incredibly happy for my mom and Jon," he said. "They've known each other for over 35 years and I wish them luck in this next chapter of their lives together."
