AceShowbiz - January Jones has finally confirmed dating speculation with Nick Viall, after previously denying it. The "Mad Men" alum opened up about her fling with the former "The Bachelor" star in the Monday, January 13, episode of Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert" podcast.
The 42-year-old actress revealed that Nick reached out to her after she started "blasting" him on social media and during interviews when she discussed the ABC reality dating show. "Then Nick slid into my DMs, and he's like, 'I'm so sorry that your perception of me is so negative. I'd love to take you out to coffee and see if I can change your mind,' " January shared.
Revealing her initial reaction, the blonde beauty said, "And I squealed! I was like, 'Oh, my God.' ... I was like, 'I hate that guy!' " But her sister convinced her to meet the former "The Bachelorette" contestant. "My sister's like, 'If you don't go, you will forever regret it.' So I agreed to go on a date with him - or to drinks or whatever," she confided.
The Emmy-nominated actress went on recalling their first meeting, "And as I met him, I was rounding the corner, and I saw him, and he has this very distinct walk, and I had this instinct to run up to him and wrap my legs around his waist - you know, like they do? I stopped myself."
Describing her time with Nick as "good," the Melissa Chartres on FOX's comedy series "The Last Man on Earth" went on dishing, "All I did was grill him about the show." She confirmed, "We went on a couple dates and then ... yeah."
Admitting that she "got a lot of juicy insights" after her dates with Nick, January has finally had a different perspective of the 39-year-old. She explained, "He was cast as the quote-unquote 'villain,' but he was actually ... he had a bit of a brain, you know? So there was something else there."
Back in February 2018, January denied that she's dating Nick. "He's a friend of mine. He's super sweet," she claimed while addressing the dating rumors. "No, I'm single. But, he's a friend of mine and tells me lots of inside scoops."
