AceShowbiz - Model Slick Woods is bouncing back after suffering a seizure as she battles melanoma cancer.
The 23 year old, who went public with her medical crisis in November 2019, notified fans of her scary episode on Tuesday night, January 7, 2020, after posting a video clip of herself from her hospital bed.
However, Woods, real name Simone Thompson, is maintaining a positive attitude amid her latest health setback, smiling widely at the camera while laid up with an intravenous drip in her right arm.
The Fenty Beauty star also appeared to have a brace around her left wrist, although she did not address the reason for the support garment.
In the accompanying caption, Woods wrote, "Now that I'm feeling a million times better and walking again, thanks @cheyalli for saving my life during an unexpected seizure in the middle of the night."
"Man there's so many people going through way worse #staygoofy (sic)."
Woods' post had celebrities like Gabrielle Union, Taraji P. Henson, and singer Teyana Taylor sending her their support with emojis, while fellow model Adut Akech commented, "Thank god, quick recovery! We love you @slickwoods."
