The former '90 Day Fiance' star takes to Instagram Stories to reflect on her failed marriage, admitting that 'it's a hard pill to swallow' but she is in a happy place now.

AceShowbiz - Ashley Martson and Jay Smith are officially single now, after going through some ups and downs in their short-lived marriage. The dental technician took to her Instagram account on Thursday, November 21 to confirm the news. Sharing a black-and-white picture from her wedding photo shoot with Jay, she wrote in the caption, "We are officially divorced."
Ashley further opened up about her feelings after being legally separated from her husband of one year in a now-deleted Instagram Story post. "I feel like a failure," she admitted. "I tried all I could," she claimed, but in the end it didn't work because "It was broken beyond repair."
"My last post may sound like I'm happy," she shared, referring to a beach photo of her two kids, "which I am to put this chapter behind me." Still, "it's a hard pill to swallow," she said. "I didn't think I would be married [and] divorced at such a young age," the former "90 Day Fiance" star added.
As she's ready to put her failed marriage behind, the dental technician declared, "My page will no longer represent my marriage or the show from this point forward. I just want it all behind me."
She went on thanking her fans, writing, "I appreciate everyone's support through this Journey. ... Thanks again to everyone who supported me and reached out to me during this Mess with kind words. It truly means a lot! I'm grateful [for] the love."
Ashley and Jay tied the knot in Las Vegas in April 2018 after meeting during her vacation in Jamaica. She first filed for divorce in January 2019, but got back together after she was hospitalized. Ashley filed for divorce for the second time in April as she once again accused him of cheating.
Jay later dated Kayla O'Brien, while his split with Ashley went nasty with Ashley filing for a Protection From Abuse against him. Jay was arrested in July and spent almost a month in ICE custody for violating the terms of the PFA.
In September, Jay and Kayla broke up, and immediately afterwards he and Ashley sparked reunion rumors. But he allegedly cheated again, and earlier this month, Ashley stated that she's ready to pay for Jay to sign the divorce papers.
