AceShowbiz - Is Hailie Scott Mathers now engaged? That is what people have been speculating ever since the 23-year-old daughter of Eminem took to her Instagram account on Monday, October 27 a new picture of herself.
In the said picture, Hailie looked as gorgeous as always in a green plaid hooded dress that she paired with black boots, completing the look with a black choker as she styled her hair to a high ponytail. The brunette beauty didn't appear to wear a ring in the photo, but she left seven rings emoji in the caption of the post, leading people to speculate whether she had gotten engaged.
One heartbroken fan wrote in the comment section, "Please don't tell me you are engaged now," while another person simply asked, "Are you getting married?" Someone else similarly wondered, "Does that mean you're engaged?" Some others, meanwhile, were already convinced that Hailie is engaged, with one even congratulating her in the comment. There was also an individual who said, "Who is the lucky man who got your heart."
Even though Hailie hasn't responded to the speculation, there were already a number of followers who insisted the social media star isn't engaged, pointing out that Hailie was dressing up as Ariana Grande for Halloween. They also said that the caption was a reference to the singer's hit single "7 Rings". One comment read, "Jesus Chris she put 7 Rings because of the Ariana Grande song not because of her being engaged."
Engaged or not, Hailie herself apparently isn't single. Multiple reports stated that she is currently in relationship with Evan McClintock, whom she met in college. A source previously said that her family had approved of their relationship, including Eminem. "Hailie's family has welcomed Evan, they are a fantastic young couple who love cozy nights in rather than hard partying," so the source said. "She enjoys keeping a low profile, walking her dog and going to fitness classes, hanging out with her friends and holidaying with Evan."
