This includes Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse, though these two had been getting fans hoping that they were more than friends due to their on-screen romance. And their hope just got stronger when Cole began posting photos of Lili on his Instagram account, in addition to their social media flirting. However, Cole suggested in an interview that their off-screen romance was all in fans' heads.
He said, "People have wanted every actor on this show to be in a union that they could make real. Truthfully, it's very pleasing that people talk about Lili and I in that way because it means that we're resonating so strongly that people really want that to be true." That didn't stop fans from shipping those two, though, considering that Cole and Lili were still flirting on social media. Finally, in April 2018, Lili confirmed to paparazzi that they are indeed a couple.
