AceShowbiz - The 2019 MTV VMA Awards are finally here! Taking place on Monday, August 26 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, the highly-anticipated annual awards gathered celebrities as it would honor the best in the music video medium. In addition to winners revelation, it was always exciting to see the fashion that each star was bringing while gracing the red carpet prior to the ceremony, which would be hosted by Sebastian Maniscalco.

For this year's event, celebrities perfectly showcased their individual styles on the red carpet. Among those who turned heads that night was Lil Nas X. The rapper, who was nominated for several categories at this year's VMAs, arrived in a dazzling outfit consisting of sparkling outer and matching pants.

Meanwhile, Hot Girl Summer Megan Thee Stallion made her debut appearance at the award-giving event in a sultry studded look. She was clad in a barely-there bedazzled leather jacket, matching bra, hotpants and knee-high boots. As for Taylor Swift, the "Lover" singer hit the red carpet in a multi-color, chain-print beaded blazer dress which she paired with black crystal-embellished over-the-knee boots.

Ava Max and Halsey seemingly opted to go unique for their look. The "So Am I" singer looked as if she was a superhero while donning a red-and-silver ensemble, complete with a cape. As for the "Without Me" hitmaker, she looked stunning in a black corset-top underneath a sheer red dress. Her outfit wasn't the only thing that caught people attention as she sported a streak of rainbow color through the middle of her hair.

Rumored couple Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes also served look on the red carpet. The "Havana" hitmaker was a goddess in a white plunging dress featuring a tiny cut-out around the hips. Meanwhile her "Senorita" collaborator looked dapper in a green suit.

Model siblings Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid were twinning in beige ensembles. Meanwhile, Fifth Harmony's Normani Kordei flaunted her abs in a multi-color dress that featured a large cut-out and a high slit. She matched the fiery look with a pair for red stilettos.

The 2019 MTV VMAs is currently underway with Taylor serving as its superstar opening act.
