AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey was forced to walk through the rain in New York after her car broke down.
The "Touch My Body" hitmaker was on her way to see kids at her Camp Mariah summer camp when she suffered the mishap, forcing her to brave the weather. Luckily, a helper was on hand to hold an umbrella over the singer during her impromptu stroll.
In a video posted on Instagram, the star said she had planned to challenge her camp charges to sing lines from her track "Obsessed" on the social media app TikTok, before breaking into a few lines from it herself.
She captioned the video: "The freaking car broke down on the way to Camp Mariah (angry emoji) so I decided to participate in the Tik Tok #Obsessed challenge... I lost!"
Her boyfriend, the dancer Bryan Tanaka saw the funny side of the incident, responding to the video by writing: "The is perfect."
Carey has run her summer camp in association with The Fresh Air Fund's Career Awareness Program since 1994, helping kids study over the summer to further their future school and work careers.
