Some leaked behind-the-scenes pictures show a series of dummy crates containing likenesses of Scarlett Johansson and Pugh labeled with their characters' names.

AceShowbiz - "Black Widow" has been shrouded in secrecy while production is currently underway. Aside from the fact that Scarlett Johansson is reprising her role as Natasha Romanoff a.k.a. the titular character, other characters who will appear in the movie have not been confirmed so far.

But a new tidbit of the movie has surfaced online through newly leaked photos from the set in Budapest. The pictures which were posted through fans' social media pages show dummy crates containing likenesses of Johansson and Florence Pugh labeled with their characters' names.

Pugh's doll crate is labeled Yelena, confirming speculation that the actress is playing Yelena Belova. Yelena is a Russian spy, who was also trained in the same Red Room as Natasha. In the comic books, Yelena and Natasha became at odds over the years, largely due to Yelena believing that she was the true Black Widow.

It's unclear if the movie will feature Yelena as Natasha's ally or enemy. A set video posted on Instagram shows the filming of a motorbike scene, during which someone who looks like Johansson's stunt double is seen speeding through the street with Yelena doll on the back of the motorbike.

"Black Widow" will center on Romanoff, a Russian spy and assassin who later defects to the United States and becomes an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Avenger. It's widely believed that the movie will serve as a prequel to "The Avengers" film series and is set in the 1990s.

Rachel Weisz and David Harbour have also been reported to join the movie, with Ray Winstone being the latest addition to the cast. Their roles are still unknown.

Cate Shortland is serving behind the lens, with the script provided by Jac Schaeffer ("The Hustle"). Disney reportedly eyes a 2020 release for the solo movie.
