The 43-year-old truck driver defends himself and his estranged wife against negative comments over the 'Jersey Shore' star's seemingly lack of presence in their children's lives.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer "JWoww" Farley's ex Roger Mathews puts their children first despite their differences that set them apart and he proves it by silencing Internet trolls who slam their co-parenting skills. The father of two recently took to Instagram to defend his estranged wife against haters, who seemingly criticized her lack of presence in their children's lives.

On Monday, May 27, Roger shared a video of their 4-year-old daughter Meilani and 3-year-old son Greyson getting sleepy in the backseat of his car. He also posted a picture of their snuggling time in bed as they arrived home.

"Happy Memorial Day everyone," he opened his message in the caption. Addressing the backlash leveled against him and JWoww, he wrote, "There seems to be an overflow of negative comments both toward me and toward Jenni on many of my posts still. I'm a big boy and a proud supporter of free speech, I can take it. Jenni also has tough skin and can take it however the comments as to who the better parent is, or who spends more time (sic) our children are unnecessary."

"I accept my responsibility in the divide I caused In the eyes of the public but I'll always post about my children and if we can move past the negativity certainly it wouldn't be to (sic) much to ask for everyone else too," he continued. "We both love our children emphatically and always will. It takes far more effort and energy to be negative than it does to be positive. Enjoy this beautiful day."

JWoww and Roger separated in September 2018 after being married for almost three years. She accused him of physical and emotional abuse, which he denied, and also slammed his co-parenting abilities at the time. The "Jersey Shore" star, however, recently said that they are on good terms now.

Following their split, JWoww has moved on by dating professional wrestler Zack Clayton Carpinello. As they have often been spotted together lately, people are criticizing the 33-year-old reality TV star for partying with her boyfriend than spending more time with her kids. "It seems like you spend more time with the kids than their own mother. All I see is kids kids kids on your posts. The mother is out partying with her new boyfriend and drinking and barley see posts with the kids. Sad," one wrote in the comment section of Roger's post.
