Diablo Placed on Involuntary Mental Hold After Posting Suicide Note

Before police came to his Los Angeles home, the 'Be Right There' DJ sparked concerns for his safety by sharing a lengthy online message about not being able to take industry pressure anymore.

AceShowbiz - Hip-hop producer and DJ Diablo has been placed on an involuntary mental hold after alarming fans and famous friends by posting a suicide note online.

The musician, who has worked with rappers Lil Pump and Lil Xan, sparked fears for his safety on Wednesday, May 08 after sharing a lengthy post on his social media accounts expressing his desire to "end it" that night.

In the worrying message, Diablo appeared to put the blame on music industry officials for pushing him over the edge.

"all i wanted to do in this one life is be happy and create...," he began. "i can't take this pressure anymore i don't wanna be a puppet to this industry... i don't wanna compete with anyone i just wanna be happy and i can't seem to reach that goal...

"so i'll leave you guys with all my unreleased music, i'm sorry i wasn't strong enough... but this is where i have to end it (sic)".

He went on to insist he would be "happier off dead", claiming, "maybe than (sic).. people will appreciate my art".

Diablo also shared a special message to his mum, before concluding, "to my fans and supporters, i'm sorry. i'm weak. i'm gonna end it tonight. Goodbye everyone."

The disturbing post prompted stars like Diplo, Lil Pump, and Paris Hilton to express their concern, while one follower called emergency services to check on his welfare.

According to TMZ, police officers found Diablo alive at his Los Angeles home and placed him in handcuffs, before taking him into custody for a psychiatric evaluation.

Diablo also shared video footage of himself in custody as he cried and apologised to his fans.

Representatives for the rising star have yet to comment on his current condition.
