AceShowbiz - Meet Gene Attell Fischer! Amy Schumer has taken to Instagram to officially announce the name of her first child with her husband Chris Fischer, two days after giving birth to the baby boy on late Sunday, May 5.

The "Trainwreck" star revealed the baby's name along with a new picture of the newborn. In the adorable snap, the two-day-old boy sweetly stared to the camera while his father carried him on his arms. The 37-year-old comedian simply captioned it, "Gene Attell Fischer And his dad Chris."

Amy and Chris welcomed their son on Sunday night, May 5, the same day Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal baby was born. It's the first child for both the actress and the chef, who wed in February 2018 after dating for around a year.

On Monday, she shared the first picture of their newborn baby boy. The former "Inside Amy Schumer" star was lying in hospital bed and cradling their baby as Chris planted a kiss on her eye. She gave a nod to Harry and Meghan's first child as she wrote in the caption, "10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born."

On the way to the hospital on Sunday evening, Amy stopped by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, where the 2019 Met Gala recently took place. Dressing casually in a gray T-shirt, beige cardigan, black leggings and sneakers, she posed on the stairs as the crew had begun the preparation for the star-studded event.

She cheekily captioned the photos shared on Instagram, "Met look this year. Last night on the way to the hospital." Amy was a guest of the annual fund-raising event in 2016 and 2017. Her hilarious post received positive responses from her followers and fellow celebrities.
