The power couple avoided attracting attention while joining mourners at Nipsey's Celebration of Life, while his girlfriend Lauren shows off a new tattoo in honor of the slain rapper after the memorial.

AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z quietly attended Nipsey Hussle's "Celebration of Life" memorial on Thursday, April 11. The power couple was among 21,000 mourners who were spotted at Los Angeles' Staples Center, but didn't attract attention to themselves.

In a picture taken from the venue during the memorial, Beyonce partly blocked her face with a round brim black hat. She appeared to be wearing a black outfit, as her husband Jay-Z wore a formal black suit.

Rappers Big Sean, Meek Mill and G-Eazy, NBA stars James Harden and Russell Westbrook, as well as Radio personality Big Boy were also spotted in attendance. Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg and Nipsey's girlfriend Lauren London were among speakers at the memorial, while former president Barack Obama sent a letter which was read during the memorial.

Jay-Z's touching message was included in the memorial program. "The world just got to see a flash of your brilliance. You were a curious soul who was evolving at a speed that was truly inspiring," he wrote. "The seeds you have planted are already bearing fruit. The outpouring of admiration is testimony to the love and respect you've farmed. Sleep well King. The Marathon continues as a line of energy for all of us to consider."

Following the memorial, Lauren unveiled a new tattoo tribute for her late boyfriend. The model/actress had Nipsey's face inked on her forearm with "God will rise" written across the bottom. She captioned the photo, "Real Love Never Dies. When you see me, you will always see him #LoveYouHussle #TMC (The Marathon Continues)."

The memorial was followed by a 25-mile procession past the rap star's Marathon Clothing company in Hyde Park, where Nipsey was shot on March 31, and his childhood home in Crenshaw, while his remains were transported to a funeral home.
