The 'Flipmode' rapper found himself indicted on one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury in October 2018 for attacking Emily B and her father during a heated altercation.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Fabolous will avoid jail time in his domestic violence case after accepting a plea deal.

Instead, the hip hop hitmaker will enter a pre-trial intervention programme, according to TMZ sources.

His attorney, Brian Neary, tells the outlet the charges against his client will be dismissed once he completes the programme and stays out of trouble for a year.

The deal is a big break for the rapper as he faced up to 20 years behind bars after a grand jury indicted him in October (2018) on one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening to kill and a count of possession of a weapon.

Fabolous attacked Emily B, the mother of his two kids, and her father during a heated row.

The couple remain together and Fabolous has apologised to her dad.
