His 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' co-star Kristy Swanson writes that 'tears won't stop' and Luke's '90210' co-star Ian Ziering says he 'will forever bask in the loving memories' they shared over the last thirty years.

AceShowbiz - Hollywood is mourning the death of Luke Perry. The "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum died at 52 years old on Monday, March 4 after suffering a massive stroke several days before. Tributes have since poured in to the actor, who was starring on The CW's "Riverdale" at the time of his passing.

Among those heartbroken over Luke's death was his "90210" co-star Ian Ziering. Posting a picture with the late actor, Ian wrote on Instagram, "Dearest Luke, I will forever bask in the loving memories we've shared over the last thirty years. May your journey forward be enriched by the magnificent souls who have passed before you, just like you have done here for those you leave behind. God please give him a seat close to to you, he deserves it."

Another "90210" alum, Alyssa Milano, wrote, "I don't understand how he's gone. His soul always shined so bright. His smile. His talent. His kindness. He was always the coolest person in the room. Rest with the angels, sweet Luke. I will never forget you."

Luke's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" co-star Kristy Swanson wrote an emotional post on Twitter. "I abruptly woke at 4:30am thinking about you Luke & I couldn't go back to sleep, then 5 hours later I hear you are gone. The tears won't stop & they never ever will. You were that guy, that forever friend, we always had each others back & I will always remember you this way...," she said along with a picture of their scene from the 1992 movie.

Joss Whedon, who created the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" TV series, shared his memory with Luke, "The first time I met Luke Perry we talked about what kind of movie we wanted 'Buffy' to be. I asked if he'd ever seen 'Near Dark' and he gave me a look of HOW DARE YOU SIR and I knew we'd get along. Funny, committed, and always gracious. He shouldn't be gone."

"Riverdale" executive producers said in a statement, "We are deeply saddened to learn today about the passing of Luke Perry." They added, "Luke was everything you would hope he would be: an incredibly caring, consummate professional with a giant heart, and a true friend to all. A father figure and mentor to the show's young cast, Luke was incredibly generous, and he infused the set with love and kindness. Our thoughts are with Luke's family during this most difficult time."

Lili Reinhart, who plays Betty Cooper on the series, chimed in, "I'm finding it hard to grasp that he will no longer be around to give long hugs and share his wisdom and kindness with all of us." She added, "I just can't believe it."

His other "Riverdale" co-star Molly Ringwald tweeted, "My heart is broken. I will miss you so much Luke Perry. Sending all my love to your family."

The show's writers, meanwhile, offered their condolences through the writers room's official Twitter account. "Luke Perry... you were a joyful and vibrant soul. You will be missed but most certainly your legacy will be remembered forever. Rest in love and peace, friend," it read.

"Riverdale" showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa posted on his own account, "So heartbroken about Luke. He was a father, brother, friend, and mentor. Each night before he had to shoot a scene, he’d call me and we’d talk about...everything. I will miss those calls. And my heart goes out to all his family and friends."

Filming on the series was suspended on Monday to honor the late actor and to allow cast and crew time to grieve for their co-star.

Sarah Michelle Gellar, who starred on the "Buffy" TV series, said that now she has to console her friend and Luke's "90210" co-star Shannen Doherty. Shannen has not reacted publicly to Luke's passing. She previously asked everyone to keep him in prayer and keep positive thoughts while he was hospitalized.

An old friend and fellow actor, Dash Mihok, couldn't believe their encounter one week ago would be their last meeting. "We hugged hard like 2 guys who hadn't seen each other in a while. Then stared into each other's eyes with pride and mutual respect for the happiness we were experiencing. Can't believe that will be the last time....," he wrote. "So fortunate to have gotten to do that. May we all be reminded how precious each day and moment is."

This one is really hard to swallow. I ran into my old friend 1 week ago today. We caught up at chatted about our kids and how amazing life was right now being dads. He was beaming and looked and seemed in great health. He was one of the kindest souls you’ll ever find and anytime I was around him ... I would leave with a spring in my step, a smile on my face and a happy reminder of the goodness of people on this earth. We hugged hard like 2 guys who hadn’t seen each other in a while. Then stared into each other’s eyes with pride and mutual respect for the happiness we were experiencing. Can’t believe that will be the last time.... So fortunate to have gotten to do that. May we all be reminded how precious each day and moment is. Rest In Peace and Power brother. #LukePerry
