AceShowbiz - The Costume Designers Guild Awards have always provided the perfect opportunity for celebrities to go all out with their fashion and this year is no exception. A-listers such as Sarah Paulson and Billie Lourd brought colors when they hit the red carpet at the event which took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, February 19.
The "Ocean's 8" actress, who was on hand to present Ryan Murphy the Distinguished Collaborators Award for his work on "American Horror Story", looked fiery in a red metallic dress which featured a flirty cut-out down the bodice. As for her hairstyle, Sarah wore a tiny top bun and made sure to catch everyone's eyes with her flawless makeup.
On the other hand, the daughter of late Carrie Fisher was shining in her Lou Eyrich silver gown that featured a risky high slit on her right leg. The dress additionally included a frilly short sleeve and floral pattern at the bottom part of the gown. Making sure that her dress was the center of attention, the actress simply let her brunette locks down and wore minimal accessories.
Other stars who attended the Kate Walsh-hosted event included Christina Hendricks, Marisa Tomei and Glenn Close. While Marisa flaunted her fit figure in a plunging palm-print dress, "Good Girls" star Christina wowed in a blue gown with galaxy-print overlay selected by stylist Lawren Sample. As for Glenn, the Golden Globes-winning actress opted for masculine look. She received Spotlight Award during the ceremony.
Besides Glenn and Ryan, other winners at the annual event included Ruth E. Carter and Mary E. Vogt, the former of whom notched two trophies thanks to his work on "Black Panther". On the other hand, Mary brought home Excellence in Contemporary Film her work on "Crazy Rich Asians".
