AceShowbiz - Before the Grammys rolled out the carpet on Sunday night, February 10, celebrities flocked to the Royal Albert Hall in London for the 2019 British Academy Film Awards on the same day. Among the most-awaited guests were British royals Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The Duchess of Cambridge was a real-life modern princess as she walked the red carpet in a one-shouldered white gown by Alexander McQueen. She paid homage to her late mother-in-law with the South Sea pearl earrings, which once belonged to Princess Diana.
Her hair was styled in an elegant updo while she held a white purse. Meanwhile, Prince William, who is currently the president of BAFTA, looked dapper in a classic black suit and bow tie with a white shirt.
Not to be outshined by the real-life British royal, Margot Robbie made a statement in a monochrome number which featured an embellished body. The dress featured a fitted bodice with ruffled black shoulder detailing and matching hemline.
The Australian actress, who plays Queen Elizabeth I in "Mary Queen of Scots", wore strappy heels and minimum accessories, as her blonde hair was styled in an updo. She added a slick of electric blue eyeliner to the bold look, with peach lipstick.
Also standing out on the red carpet were Lily Collins, Rachel Weisz, Olivia Colman and Viola Davis among others. See more photos below.
