AceShowbiz - Naomi Campbell has always been known for her signature and iconic long, glossy dark hair, but all of that changed when she showed up to Paris Fashion Week. Attending Louis Vuitton's Menswear Fall/Winter 2019 show on Thursday, January 17, the British model was barely recognizable thanks to her completely new hairstyle.
Saying goodbye to her long hair, Naomi sported short, bouncy curls with caramel-colored highlights when she made her way in to the venue. She teamed her look with a flowing two-tone dress which featured a high neckline and ruffled skirt. She wore a beige blazer over the dress. Also rocking knee-high tan boots that had chunky heels, Naomi completed her style with gold-framed aviator shades.
Naomi sat front-row at Virgil Abloh's fashion show, alongside the likes of Offset, Timothee Chalamet and Kid Cudi.
For his second runway presentation as the men's artistic director of Louis Vuitton, Virgil decided to pay homage to Michael Jackson. Many models wore sparkling gloves and architectural jackets, with Dev Hynes providing the musical accompaniment. The musician belted out cover of some of Michael's hits such as "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' ". Wrapping up the show, the house band's guitarist walked down the runway in darkness as tiles lit up under his feet on the runway, recreating an iconic moment from the "Billie Jean" music video.
Virgil previously teased his collection with Interview magazine, describing how listening to the King of Pop's music helped him be more creative. "I'm (constantly) listening to music," he said. "My next Louis Vuitton collection is going to be based on Michael Jackson, and when I have Michael singing in the background, it's a different type of shirt, it's a different kind of boot, it's a different fit of pants. Music is key."
