AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez is seemingly on the right track of getting better. Two months after she was released from mental health facility in November 2018, the 26-year-old singer looked happy as she enjoyed an evening of horse-riding with her friends, Raquelle Stevens and Anna Collins, .
On Wednesday, January 9, Raquelle and Anna turned to their Instagram accounts to share photos of the horse-riding session. In both photos, smiling Selena is seen wearing a sherpa patched tapestry-like coat, a pair of jeans and sneakers. Raquelle captioned her photo, "Sunset ride" with a love emoji, while Anna only put a series of unicorn emojis in hers.
News of Selena seeking treatment after a mental breakdown surfaced in October 2018. The "Monte Carlo" star reportedly went into a downward emotional spiral after being hospitalized twice in matter related to her kidney transplant. Since then, she allegedly checked herself into an East Coast psychiatric facility for dialectical behavior therapy.
On the issues, a source told E! News that Selena "is committed to focusing on her mental and physical health." One of the steps she took to get better was removing herself from social media and withdrawing from "people who aren't a handful of the people she trusts." The source added, "Selena has been trying really hard recently to remain focused and not let her health affect her."
In early November 2018, it was uncovered that the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star had been released from rehab. "Selena is out of her treatment program in NYC and is doing much better," a source spilled. "[She is] refreshed and is in a better head space. [She] will still be checking in with professionals as her health battle is ongoing. [For now, she] wants to stay low for a while and isn't ready to go full force into working yet."
