Sharing her health update to her devoted followers, the TLC personality takes to Instagram Stories to upload a slew of pictures and videos during her hospitalization.

AceShowbiz - Ashley Martson had a not-so-joyful Christmas this year. Just days after the "90 Day Fiance" star was said to be splitting from her new husband Jay Smith, she was admitted to hospital due to a flare-up of her lupus symptoms.

Sharing her health update to her devoted followers, Ashley took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, December 25 to share a slew of pictures and videos taken from her hospital bed. "If I could ask Santa for one gift it would be Good health," she wrote in her first post. "Being admitted on Christmas Eve and missing Christmas morning with my children is the worst. My strength is beginning to run out by I know God's strength will pull me through."

She then began to complain about her hospital meal, asking for "wings and Cheese fries" instead of broth. Fortunately for her, it appeared she started feeling healthier by Wednesday morning, as she shared a video with the words, "Still here but starting to feel a bit better," written on it. Ashley then followed it up with a selfie of herself lying on the hospital bed, hooked up to an IV.

Jay, who was revealed to be unfaithful to Martson in recent episodes of "90 Day Fiance", reportedly visited his wife in the hospital on Christmas day.

Ashley previously opened up about her illness last month, when people started asking her why she was crying in an episode of the TLC reality show. Sharing a picture of herself lying in a hospital bed, she wrote, "A lot of people are asking why I look so sad and like I was crying for days in last nights episode. This photo was taken hours before that filming. I had a reaction to a medication for lupus and my eyes and neck were completely broke out."

She continued, "They gave me steroids to help it but it wasn't completely gone. I was battling this the entire rest of the season so I just wanted to address it."
