AceShowbiz - Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is going to make his last Christmas before going to prison unforgottable. The "Jersey Shore" star recently shared on Instagram a photo of him celebrating Christmas alongside his new wife, Lauren Pesce.
The photo featured the 36-year-old reality TV star posing with his wife in front of a Christmas tree during an impressive holiday feast. "Merry Christmas from The Situations & don't forget to treat thyself," so he wrote in the caption.
The two tied the knot in New Jersey on November 1 after taking a break for some time. "We went out together for about four years, and then once 'Jersey Shore' started we decided to take a break throughout seasons 1-6," The Situation previously shared. "Once [the show] was over, we eventually reconnected and have been together ever since, for over four years now."
Gushing over his new wife, he said, "She's my best friend, my better half. She makes me a better person. I'm so excited that she’s in my life."
He popped the question to Lauren on Valentine's Day this year. Fans got to see the sweety moment on "Jersey Shore Family Vacation" which aired in June. The MTV star could be seen kneeling down before his then-fiancee before saying, "I fell in love with you because you loved me when I couldn’t even love myself."
His and Lauren's happy moment is interrupted after the former and brother Marc pled guilty to tax evasion charges. The Situation was sentenced to eight months in prison after pleading guilty to one count of tax evasion, while his brother was sentenced to two years in prison for aiding in the preparation of a false and fraudulent tax return.
