The country singer will join performers celebrating the 50th anniversary of the late King of Rock and Roll's 1968 comeback special.

AceShowbiz - Blake Shelton has signed on to host an all-star tribute to Elvis Presley to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his 1968 comeback special.

The late icon returned to live television after seven years in "Singer Presents.... Elvis" on 3 December, 1968 and Shelton will join other artists in February (19) for the "Elvis All-Star Tribute Special".

"I've always wanted to do a tribute to these shows, and the 50th anniversary marks the perfect occasion," Grammy producer Ken Ehrlich says. "There are only a few moments in television history as iconic."

The official list of performers will be revealed next year (19), but it will reportedly include Shawn Mendes, Darius Rucker, Little Big Town, Adam Lambert, Dierks Bentley, the Pistol Annies, and John Fogerty. It will be co-hosted by Elvis' only child, Lisa Marie Presley, and her actress daughter Riley Keough and feature unique musical pairings like country star Keith Urban and rapper Post Malone, who collaborated on a song.
