One contestant decides to leave the competition for 'personal reasons,' leading to a special circumstance in which three singers sing against each other.

AceShowbiz - "The Voice" season 15 kicked off its Knockouts round on Monday, October 29. The episode saw Mariah Carey joining coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson on the show. The former "American Idol" judge had been tapped to serve as a key advisor for all contestants.

In this round, the singers would perform solo with their own song choice. Unlike the Battle Rounds, they would only be informed who they would be up against a few minutes prior to their performances. Only one would move to the next round.

First performances were from Team Adam as Tyke James were up against Keith Paluso. Keith opted for "You're the Best Thing" by Ray LaMontagne, while Tyke sang a Beachy Cover of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire". After watching them like a hawk, Adam decided to keep Tyke. Kelly hit her button to steal Keith, but Adam also wanted to save him. Eventually, Keith chose Team Kelly.

Up next were three-way battle between Team Kelly's Kimberly Joye, Zaxai and Natasia Greycloud. Kelly explained that Cody Ray Raymond left the competition for "personal reasons." Natasia sang "Tennessee Whiskey". Kymberly performed her take on Zedd and Maren Morris's "The Middle" with Zaxai mind-blowing everyone with a rendition of "Crusin' " by Smokey Robinson.

Kelly then had to pick two winners from the special battle. The first winner was Kimberly while the second winner was Zaxai. Blake then stole Natasia.

Makenzie Thomas and Mike Parker from Team J. Hud then hit the stage. Makenzie performed "How Deep Is Your Love" by Bee Gees with a twist. Meanwhile, Mike belted out "Break Even" by The Script. Makenzie's performance was epic that J. Hud couldn't help but pick him over Mike.

The next were performances by Radha and Reagan Strange from Team Adam. Radha made a brave song choice by singing Mariah's song "I'll Be There", while Reagan went with a rendition of Robyn's "Dancing on My Own". Adam eventually chose Reagan, but he didn't want to lose Radha as well so he saved her.

Later it was time for Team Blake's Funsho and Katrina Cain to hit the stage. Katrina opted to sing "Don't Let Me Down" by The Chainsmokers. It's such a risky song since it was out of her usual comfort zone. On the other hand, Funsho picked The Weeknd's "Earned It" for his performance that night. Katrina didn't perform quite well, so Blake chose Funsho.

Performing next were Team J. Hud's SandyRedd and Patrique Fortson. Patrique sang Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" as a tribute to his dad with SandyRedd performing "Dangerous Woman" by Ariana Grande. Jennifer announced Patrique as the winner, but she also decided to keep SandyRedd in the competition so she hit her button to save her.

"The Voice" airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 P.M. on NBC.
