Taking to Instagram to share a sneak peek at Captain Natalie Artemis' battle gear, the 42-year-old actress also promises to show 'incredible MH weapons we've recreated for the film.'

AceShowbiz - Milla Jovovich has been generously giving fans a look at the "Monster Hunt" movie adaptation. Posting on Instagram on Thursday, October 25 a new photo from the set, she also revealed the character she's playing in the film.

"Captain Natalie Artemis. Ranger. Monster Hunter," she captioned the photo of her in her character's battle outfit. She sported a chest armor and what Jovovich called a "slinger" on her arm. "Just a little peek for all the @monsterhunterworld fans out there who were worried the other day. Here is Captain Artemis wearing a 'slinger' on her arm," she informed her followers.

The actress/model, best known for her portrayal of Alice in "Resident Evil" film series based on CAPCOM video game series, additionally promised to share more about the film's props. "I will also post a pic at some point of some of the incredible MH weapons we've recreated for the film," she wrote.

A day before, Jovovich shared an on-set photo featuring her and co-stars Meagan Good and T.I. Still wearing their characters' uniforms, they were relaxing under a tent set up near a giant rock on the filming location.

"Alpha Team between takes. So much fun hanging with these two, the gorgeous and super talented @meagangood and the one and only @troubleman31. The days are long and exhausting out here in the desert, but it's so worth it and we really feel like a close knit team now," she wrote in the caption, before teasing fans, "p.s. for fans of the game, all the armor and bone blades are gonna be in the movie too, it will all make sense when you see it!"

Diego Boneta, meanwhile, previously shared a first look at his character Sergeant Marshall. Armed with a gun, he walked cautiously between two rocks.

"Monster Hunter" is based on another video game series produced by Capcom. It marks another project that puts together Jovovich and her husband Paul W.S. Anderson, who directed four of six "Resident Evil" films. Anderson directs and writes the "Monster Hunter" adaptation.

The movie follows a United Nations military team falling into a portal to an alternate dimension, where humans fight off giant monsters. The two groups work together to defend the portal to prevent monsters from entering the portal and invading Earth.

Tony Jaa and Ron Perlman also star in the fantasy action movie, which is being filmed in South Africa. No release date is set just yet for the pic.
