While the Tridinadian beauty belts out medley of her hit 'Queen' tracks, the pop superstar performs rendition of her hits such as 'On the Floor' and 'Dance Again'.

AceShowbiz - There were many memorable performances at the recently wrapped MTV Video Music Awards, which was held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on August 20. Among notable performers at the award-giving show were Nicki Minaj and Jennifer Lopez.

Having just released her album "Queen", it came as no surprise that Nicki took the chance to promote the effort during her set. Performing from the World Trade Center mall, the Trinidadian beauty belted out a medley of hit tracks off the album, including "Barbie Dreams", "FEFE" and "Ganja Burn". She also delivered a rendition of her Eminem-assisted track "Majesty".

Also performing medley of hits at the event was Jenny, who took home the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. She kicked off her performance with a rendition of "Waiting Tonight", before launching into other hits such as "On the Floor", "Ain't Your Mama" and "Dance Again". Later on, Ja Rule joined the singer onstage to belt out "I'm Real" and "Ain't It Funny". DJ Khaled also joined her for a performance of "Dinero".

Earlier during the event, Shawn Mendes opened the show with a rousing performance of "In My Blood". Casually dressed in a sleeveless white shirt, the Canadian heartthrob got soaked when rain poured down on him at the end of his performance. During his set, Ariana Grande and her fiance Pete Davidson were seen cuddling and jamming out to the tune.

Elsewhere at the show, Logic joined forces with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic for a touching performance of "One Day". They brought dozens of immigrant parents and children, who all wore T-shirts with the words, "We are all human beings" written on it. Meanwhile, Logic donned a "F**k the Wall" T-shirt, which was a clear shot at President Donald Trump.

Also gracing the stage at the award-giving show was Brandon Urie, who sang "High Hopes".
