AceShowbiz - It's official! Ashley Greene and Paul Khoury are now a man and wife after a long engagement. The couple just got married on Friday evening, July 6 in a private outdoor ceremony set at an idyllic setting outside San Jose in California.
According to Brides, the wedding was attended by 120 friends and family members, including stars such as Liam Hemsworth, Zac Efron, Robert Pattinson, Brittany Snow, Aaron Paul and wife Lauren, and Ashlee Simpson and husband Evan Ross.
The bride wore a stunning back-bearing dress from Katie May for the nuptials and later changed into a sheer Windi Williams-Stern dress with 3-D floral appliques from the bodice to the train for the night reception.
"She's my magician. I've worked with her for over a decade for anything I do on the red carpet," Ashley praises her wedding gown designer. "She created a masterpiece for me, and I can't wait to dance the night away in it!"
The ceremony took place in a grove of grand redwood trees. They exchanged vows which they wrote themselves. "We're both romantics," Ashley says.
Ashley and Paul got engaged one and a half year ago. He proposed to the "Twilight Saga" movie series star in December 2016 during their vacation in New Zealand. "This is the most beautiful moment I could have ever hoped for. You've successfully made me the happiest, luckiest woman alive," she captioned a video of the romantic proposal. "I can't wait to show you my unfaltering immeasurable love for the rest of our lives. #engaged #loveofmylife #futurehusband."
Paul also shared the same clip on his Instagram account and wrote, "I promise to put a smile on your face for the rest of our lives. You complete me in ways I didn't even know was possible. I love you more than anything and excited to take this next step in life with you! #foreverlove #myfutrewife #ShesGonnaBeAKhoury."
In May this year, she explained their long engagement. "Paul and I decided going into this engagement, it's been a bit longer of an engagement by choice, because we really wanted to be able to look back and have enjoyed this process," the 31-year-old star told Us Weekly. "A lot of people, I think, rushed a wedding and they really don't enjoy their engagement stage and I think that's something that I was really excited about."
She threw her bachelorette party in April and marked it with a topless video with her besties. "Bachelorette antics...," she called it.
