AceShowbiz - K-Pop group Bangtan Boys a.k.a. BTS is the latest prank victim of Ellen DeGeneres. The group stopped by in the Friday, May 25 episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" only to get scared out of their seats.

The 7-piece Korean pop stars began to introduce themselves again as they changed their hairstyle. During the interview, V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin and J-Hope expressed their excitement to be able to be back at the Billboard Awards, which was held on May 20 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

"Well, we always dreamed about performing at the BBMAs. It was a dream come true," V said. "It was really special. It was really fun."

Ellen was about to wrap up the interview when a man dressed as a "fangirl" jumped out from her side table and screamed. All BTS members were shocked by the sudden appearance of the "fangirl." J-Hope even fell off the interview couch and laughed it off quickly.

BTS later took the stage to perform their new single "Fake Love" and "Airplane Pt. 2" at the morning talk show.

The group's appearance on "Ellen Show" arrives after they managed to bring home Top Social Artist trophy at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, besting Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and Shawn Mendes. It marked the second win for the mega hit Korean group as they won the same category in last year's event.

BTS is currently promoting their latest album "Love Yourself: Tear" that is a follow-up to 2107 EP "Love Yourself: Her". The album was released on May 18 alongside its music video of lead track "Fake Love" that gained over 3.3 million viewers.
