AceShowbiz - There were many joint performances at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, but the most memorable one might be Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato's performance. The two singers debuted live performance of their collaborative track "Fall in Line".

Tina began their performance by singing atop the stairs alongside two backup dancers beside her. Demi joint her onstage after Tina finished singing the first chorus. The pair then started showcasing their powerful vocals near the end of the performance, receiving standing ovation from the audience. Tyra Banks was even caught on camera staring bug-eyed.

Another joint performance which was worth mentioning was Khalid and Shawn Mendes' rendition of "Youth". They decided to make their performance an emotional tribute to those affected by gun violence, inviting Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student choir. The crowd rose to its feet when the students leaned closer to Khalid and Shawn.

Elsewhere at the event, Salt-N-Pepa reunited to perform a medley of their four best-remembered hits. Along with a troupe of dancers, the '90s hip-hop group doused the stage with renditions of "Shoop", "Let's Talk About Sex", "Push It" and "Whatta Man". For their performance of the latter song, they were joined by En Vogue. Just before they wrap up their performance, host Kelly Clarkson came out to the stage.

Janet Jackson also brought the audience back to the 90s with her own throwback performance. Bruno Mars was the one who introduced her set that night, calling her "the first black woman to ever receive the Billboard Icon Award." Janet hit the stage in a sparkling gold sweatshirt dress and matching thigh-high shoes, performing "Nasty" and "If". When she launched into her 1993 song "Throb", everyone couldn't help but sing and dance along.

The 2018 Billboard Music Awards took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 20. Ed Sheeran and Kendrick Lamar were the biggest winners at the event.
