The 22-year-old model also reveals that she leaves her family group chat on mute, but she still remains in constant communication with them.

AceShowbiz - Kendall Jenner has learned to tackle her severe anxiety issues by taking advice from the secret "community" of fellow celebrity sufferers. The model and reality TV star has been more open about her mental health struggles in recent years, and she reveals going public has actually inspired other famous faces to reach out and offer their tips on how to get through the tough times.

"It's interesting; ever since I said something about being anxious, a lot of people in the spotlight have come to me, being like, 'Oh my God, me too!'," Kendall told singer Lana Del Rey in an interview for Elle magazine. "There's this community. I take what they do to help themselves and piece it together to find what helps me."

Lana admitted she was also one of those suffering behind closed doors, but she has found a few different ways to put herself at ease. "I haven't spoken that much about my anxiety over the years," the 32-year-old shared. "But one of the cool things that's come up is the focus on self-care. I do meditations for joy and happiness and try not to spread myself too thin."

As for Jenner, she has been practising Transcendental Meditation to calm her nerves, and she finds hanging out with a friend who happens to be a healer has brought her "good energy" too. "I got such an amazing vibe from him," she said. "I was like, 'You need to be around me now.' "

Kendall also makes an effort to curb her cell phone use, because she's well aware of how social media has become an "addiction" for some.

"I'll be at dinner with my good friends, and I'll look at someone on their phone," the 22-year-old explained. "They're not texting someone, which I could accept. Maybe they're talking about something important, or figuring out an email? No, they're on Instagram and Twitter. It really does irk me. I'm like, 'Oh my God, you don't need to see what everyone else is doing! It's not like you're sitting in bed right now.' I strive to not be that person - to not live my life on my phone."

Jenner's tech ban also extends to her family's text messaging groups, which she usually leaves on mute. "I could not check my phone for two minutes, and there are, like, 100 text messages," she moaned. "The majority of the time, my family group chat is on sleep mode. I can't have it on vibrate."

However, remaining in constant communication with her loved ones does have its benefits when it comes to keeping up with new developments in fashion and other industries. "It gives me my daily dose of news sometimes," Kendall admitted. "Like, just this morning, it was announced that Virgil Abloh is now the designer for men's Louis Vuitton. I got that from my family group chat. Virgil's been a homie for forever."

In fact, Virgil helped to dress Kendall for the Met Gala in New York City on Monday, May 7, when she modelled a white jumpsuit by his brand Off-White.
