AceShowbiz - Behati Prinsloo has been mom-shamed after pumping her breast milk at Coachella and throwing it away. The model, 28, drew criticism when she shared a snap of herself on her Instagram with a breast pump while at the desert festival on Friday, April 20.
Prinsloo, who shares two daughters with husband Adam Levine, is seen grinning at the camera in the picture as she explains she's disposing of her breast milk while away from her two-month-old daughter Gio Grace. "#pumpanddump. More like cowchella lol (laugh out loud) Jamiroquai was soooo worth the pump and dump," she shared, referencing the British funk band performing.
Followers were quick to criticise the model for throwing away her breast milk. "No need to dump! Don't waste that liquid gold! Very little alcohol gets into breast milk. Nurse away mama!" one wrote. "Why don't you just breastfeed your baby?" one posted, while another wrote: "Why dump?! Most medications are safe, and as long as you're not sloppy drunk, your milk is good!!!"
Model Brooklyn Decker commiserated with the mother-of-two. "Same. Right now. Same," the 31-year-old wrote.
Prinsloo and husband Levine welcomed their second daughter Geo Grace in February. They also have 19-month-old Dusty.
