AceShowbiz - Adam Levine is expecting his second child with wife Behati Prinsloo, and he has now revealed the gender of the unborn baby. During his visit to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Tuesday, November 7, the Maroon 5 frontman announced that he's having another girl with his model wife.
"It's a girl, we're having another girl," Levine told Ellen DeGeneres. He went on saying that he and Prinsloo both want a big family one day. "I want a lot [of kids], I thrive in chaos," he said, adding that his wife feels the same. "She was an only child, so she wants like 100 babies," he explained. "I don't know if I can do that. That's a lot of babies."
Prinsloo is currently seven months along. Levine told DeGeneres that his wife's handling her second pregnancy well. "She's awesome. She's just like a champion of the world. She's killing it. You wouldn't know if she's seven months pregnant," he said.
The "What Lovers Do" singer and the 59-year-old host then talked about his first child, daughter Dusty Rose, whose name was given by DeGeneres. "I saw a rose and I thought of Rose, and then I heard the name 'Dusty Rose' and thought, 'That's a beautiful name.' And then I sent that to you and you're like, 'That's the name,' " the host recalled.
Asked if she would name his second child, the host responded, "Just to say that I named one of your [children] is not a big story, but to name both is a big story." The 38-year-old singer assured her, "It'll be collaborative effort." He said that he and his 28-year-old wife "[are] already working on it, it's going."
Levine and Prinsloo tied the knot in 2014, a year after getting engaged. The Victoria's Secret Angel announced that she's pregnant with the singer's second baby in September. She took to her Instagram account to break the news, sharing a mirror bathroom selfie of her baring her growing baby bump in a bikini and captioning it, "Round 2...."
