Steven Michael Hulbert is jailed after shooting a man multiple times at the parking lot of the 'Dirt Road Anthem' singer's concert venue in Tupelo.

AceShowbiz - A man named Steven Michael Hulbert was charged for shooting another man in the chest several times at the parking lot of Jason Aldean's concert venue in Tupelo, Mississippi on October 27. It's reported that Hulbert would make his initial court appearance on Monday, October 30.

Witnesses told The Associated Press that the incident occurred around 11:13 P.M. They said that it happened after an argument broke out between a small group of men, leading Hulbert to pull out his gun and fire four to six shots. Police stated that the bullets hit the victim and multiple vehicles at the parking lot.

WTVA also reported that the victim, who had been injured, approached the nearby police and said that he had been shot, adding that Hulbert was in a white Honda CR-V. Police immediately stopped the car before it could leave the parking lot and arrested the 22-year-old man.

Those who were still inside the concert venue were kept inside until it was determined that the place was already safe. Meanwhile, the victim, who remained unidentified, was immediately taken to the hospital. Further reports said that he was released from North Mississippi Medical Center on the following day.

The shooting happened one night after Aldean held his first outdoor concert in New Orleans since Las Vegas mass shooting, which happened on October 1 and killed 58 people. "I'll be damned if I'm going to let anyone scare me," the country singer said to more than 7,000 concertgoers.

Aldean then added that it had been "a crazy few weeks" for him, explaining that he thought it would be impossible to return to the spotlight after he and his fellow musicians were forced to flee the Las Vegas stage as shots rained down from a nearby hotel's window. "[But] the craziest thing is," he said while playing music, "is where we're the most comfortable."

The "She's Country" singer sang the late Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down" at the show and announced that the profit from the sale of his cover would be donated to the Las Vegas shooting victims.
