First look at Anna Kendrick as Santa Claus' daughter in Disney's upcoming live-action film "Nicole" has arrived. The 32-year-old actress has taken to her Instagram account to share a photo featuring her in full costume as the new jolly elf.
"It begins..... N O E L L E," so Kendrick captioned the pic which showed her wearing a green-patterned costume consisting of a long-sleeved mini-dress over a pair of matching leggings and shearling-lined booties.
The Oscar-nominated actress sported a long ponytail extension and looked radiant with minimal makeup. Finishing off her festive look with a black embroidered belt, she posed against a wall while placing her hands on her hips.
"Nicole" is set for a November 8, 2019 release in the United States by Disney. The adventure family film revolves around Santa's daughter who is forced to take over the family business when her father decides to retire and brother ends up getting cold feet prior to his first big Christmas Eve flight.
The film also stars Bill Hader ("Saturday Night Live", "Trainwreck") as Santa's son, Billy Eichner ("Billy on the Street", "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising") in an undisclosed role, Academy Award winner Shirley MacLaine as Nicole's childhood nanny Elf Polly, Julie Hagerty as Mrs. Clause and Maceo Smedley as Alex.
Written and directed by Marc Lawrence ("Miss Congeniality"), the film is produced by Susanne Todd, with Louie Provost overseeing for Disney.
Kendrick has multiple movies in the works in the meantime. She recently wrapped filming on Paul Feig's crime thriller "A Simple Favor" in Toronto alongside Henry Golding and Blake Lively. Kendrick portrays Stephanie in the film which tells a story about a mommy blogger in a small town who discovers her best friend has vanished. The film is set to arrive sometime in 2018.
Fans can next see Kendrick returning as Beca Mitchell in "Pitch Perfect 3", which hits theaters on December 22. Directed by Trish Sie, the musical also stars Brittany Snow, Rebel Wilson, Elizabeth Banks, Hailee Steinfeld, John Lithgow, Ruby Rose and Anna Camp among others.
