George H. W. Bush Apologizes Following Sexual Assault Claim, Another Actress Says He Groped Her
Celebrity

New York actress Jordana Grolnick shares a similar story of her own, alleging the former president 'reached his right hand around to my behind' and dig his hand 'into my flesh.'

AceShowbiz - Former President George H. W. Bush has offered an apology following claim of him sexually assaulting actress Heather Lind from his wheelchair. In a statement, Jim McGrath, a representative for the 93-year-old former POTUS, doesn't explicitly deny the allegation, saying, "President Bush would never - under any circumstance - intentionally cause anyone distress, and he most sincerely apologizes if his attempt at humor offended Ms. Lind."

Bush's spokesman later states in a fuller statement, "At age 93, President Bush has been confined to a wheelchair for roughly five years, so his arm falls on the lower waist of people with whom he takes pictures."

The rep admits that Bush did touch the actress, but insists that the former president "intended to be a good-natured manner." The rep continues, "Some have seen it as innocent; others clearly view it as inappropriate. To anyone he has offended, President Bush apologizes most sincerely."

Lind alleged in a now-deleted Instagram post that Bush "touched me from behind from his wheelchair with his wife Barbara Bush by his side" during a promotion for her AMC historical series. The 34-year-old actress also claimed that the 93-year-old former POTUS "made a dirty joke," before adding, "And then, all the while being photographed, touched me again." According to the actress, Barbara Bush was aware of her husband's action as she allegedly "rolled her eyes as if to say 'not again.' "

It appears that Lind is not the only woman to have experienced such things from Bush. Jordana Grolnick, a New York actress, shares a similar story of her own, saying, "I got sent the Heather Lind story by many people this morning. And I'm afraid that mine is entirely similar."

Grolnick met the former president in August 2016, when the latter came backstage of her performance of "Hunchback of Notre Dame". The actress goes on saying that her fellow cast members warned her about Bush's reputation for fondling during photo ops, though she didn't take it seriously.

"We all circled around him and Barbara for a photo, and I was right next to him," she continues. "He reached his right hand around to my behind, and as we smiled for the photo he asked the group, 'Do you want to know who my favorite magician is?' As I felt his hand dig into my flesh, he said, 'David Cop-a-Feel!' "

His wife, Barbara Bush, allegedly was also present. "[Barbara] said something along the lines of, 'He's going to get himself put into jail!' to which we laughed harder," Grolnick adds.
