Ben Affleck reunited with ex-wife Jennifer Garner just days after his Emmys date with new girlfriend Lindsay Shookus. The amicable exes, both 45, looked happy and relaxed when they were pictured stepping out together at an event for one of their three children in Los Angeles on Wednesday, September 20.

Ben opted for a casual look that day, wearing a blue sweater and a pair of dark jeans. Sporting scruffy beard and teaming his look with a pair of black-and-white shoes, the Bruce Wayne of the DC superhero movie series could be seen strolling along the school together with Jennifer, who was all smiles that day.

The "Dallas Buyers Club" actress also dressed casually in a nave cardigan over her silk cami and jeans. She teamed her look with a pair of sandals. Letting her brunette locks loose, she opted for minimal makeup. She later added a pair of sunglasses as she prepared to head home after the school function.

Ben and Jennifer, who share three kids together, daughters Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and son Samuel, 5, announced their separation in 2015, but didn't immediately divorce. They jointly filed legal documents earlier this year, in April, seeking joint physical and legal custody of their children. Soon after the divorce filing, the "Justice League" actor went public with his romance with Lindsay.

After being spotted on several dates in both New York and Los Angeles, Ben and Lindsay made their first official appearance as a couple at the recent Emmys, where the "Saturday Night Live" producer celebrated her victorious night as the sketch comedy show won multiple awards.

Though the duo finally made their relationship award show official, they seemingly were not ready to pose together on the red carpet. As reported before, the new couple decided to skip the red carpet and entered the Microsoft Theater via a VIP side entrance to make their way to their seats.
