"I know she did great. Anna did an amazing job," the father of one told paparazzi in Los Angeles while out and about over the weekend. "She rules! She was great. Her and Allison [Janney], they both looked great."
Anna walked the red carpet solo. It was her first official public appearance since she called off her marriage. She wore a purple Marc Jacobs dress with a deep plunging neckline. She presented Outstanding Variety Sketch Series along with her "Mom" co-star %cAllison Janney%. The winner went to NBC's "Saturday Night Live".
Meanwhile, Chris was a no-show at the star-studded awards event. He said he wasn't invited. His last major TV role was as Andy Dwyer on NBC's "Parks and Recreation". He received a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2013.
The actor became a full-time big screen actor after joining Marvel Cinematic Universe as Star-Lord in 2014's "Guardians of the Galaxy". He only briefly returned to TV earlier this year as a guest star in an episode of Anna's sitcom on CBS.
